Book Releases and events

Books, articles, stories, and a few good yarns.

For a while now, I've been working on a number of manuscripts. There are, at present, two picture books for children, two books for the young adult market, and a travelogue for adults. I'm in the process of shopping them around with agents, so if the luck of the Irish is with me, I'll be able to give you updates as they progress toward publication.

The Bike Boys is a novel for kids 12-16. Here's a short intro for the story.

Take one 95-lb. weeny computer geek, add two clueless parents who pack him off to Europe on a 3-month bicycle trip (the lamest birthday gift ever), include two older jock cousins he barely knows, throw in a handful of wild dogs, linguistically challenged strangers, drunk students, mad French bicyclists, one gypsy fortuneteller, stinging nettles, and a killer storm off the north Atlantic, and what do you get? Like, the greatest summer vacation any 16-year-old could hope to take, dude! Seriously.

All the books include elements of folklore, adventure, and the supernatural that I hope will be very entertaining.
